90 days before retirement date

While you may do this anytime before your retirement date (up to 180 days in advance) if you call the Kraft Foods Retirement Center, later than this, your pension payments may be delayed.

Initiate the retirement process.

You will receive for review

Within 10 business days of your call to the Kraft Foods Retirement Center

If eligible for a Kraft pension, you receive a retirement initiation kit, including a pension estimate, applicable forms and information by mail.

Complete and return all forms to the Kraft Foods Retirement Center

Within 45 calendar days before your retirement

While you may complete these forms at any time, completion within the 45-day period will ensure your pension payments begin on time.

Return completed applicable forms to ensure your pension payments begin without delay:

1. Review checklist in the retirement initiation kit
2. Return completed applicable forms.

You will receive for review

Within 30 calendar days before your retirement

The Kraft Foods Retirement Center processes your forms and sends you a final calculation statement.

Check with Human Resources

Three weeks before your retirement date

Verify your retirement date has been processed in the payroll system.
